1. How do I get to Mauritius?

You can fly to Mauritius via different airlines such as Air Mauritius, South African Airways, Air France, British Airways, Air Seychelles, Air Madagascar, Emirates, Corsair, Air Austral and others.

1.1 How much does it cost?

Return flights from Africa can start from Rs20,000 (approximately USD580) and return flights from Europe can start from Rs30,000 (approximatively USD850).

1.2 Do you have a discount code?

We are in the process of negotiating a discount code with airlines and we shall announce it soon!

2. Where do I stay in Mauritius?

3. Do I need a visa?

4. Do I need vaccinations?

There are no required vaccinations in Mauritius. The government of Mauritius requires proof of yellow fever vaccination only if you are arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever- but we do not have any risks of yellow fever here.

5. How do I get around in Mauritius?

Airport shuttles services will be proposed at an additional cost to delegates and transport during the conference will be taken care of.

To get around Mauritius in your spare time, we would recommend you hire a car, if you have an International License. Should you want to take it easy to relax, we would recommend taxi services. For those who are more adventurous, there are also our local buses which will give you another outlook of life in Mauritius.

6. Where is the Conference being held?

The conference is being held at the Intercontinental Resort Hotel in Balaclava, Mauritius.

7. What is the official programme?

This will be updated very soon but rest assured it will be an awesome one!

8. What will the weather be like in May?

The weather will be mild in May and you can expect temperatures to be up to 26/27 degrees during the day and between 20 to 22 deg at night.

9. What can I do in my spare time in Mauritius?

You can do plenty of things depending on what you like! Mauritius caters for the likes of each and everyone- whether you are seeking thrilling experiences, cultural adventures or the ultimate beach-time! Stay tuned as we will propose you different tours you may wish to join!

10. What should I eat and drink in Mauritius?

We have plenty to recommend- so do come and talk to us! For your information, tap water is very safe to drink in Mauritius but bottled and/or purified water are easily obtained as well.
